A part-time, contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services to K-12 students in a virtual setting. This role focuses on delivering bilingual speech therapy evaluations and interventions, primarily in Spanish, to support diverse communication needs within the school population.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions remotely for K-12 students.
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with relevant educational and therapy standards.
- Providing services on an as-needed basis, typically handling two to three evaluations per week.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred to meet current language needs.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivering services virtually.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills within an educational setting.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as assigned.
